boynton was reading this article on plans to restore old world attractions and 'some of the soul' to Melbourne's Luna Park

The preferred tenderer wants to make much greater use of live performers, including clowns and magicians.

Hope some of the soul and/or old glory is restored. But between the restoration and the revamp, the sentiment and the pragmatics, I like the concept of a tenderer. More tender emotions are induced viewing this great site about the famous Luna Park Merry go Round - the only example of a Philadelphia Toboggan Company Carousel to have left the US.

Is the 'Ghost Train' heritage listed?

On the ghost train at Luna Park
I see they advise:

You need to be 100 cm tall to ride alone.
Guest under 100 cm must ride with a responsible adult.

I may be over 100 cm tall but I'm not responsible enough to be a guest on the ghost train, heritage or not.
