That is the feller my father wanted to be. And smelling of leather and Bentley exhaust. In fact he smelt of bad petrol from the Austin Seven, rotten old Senior Service fags from the pub, and the sweaty cotton from his overalls.

An honest pong, withall. My mother now, talcum powder and the fear of being common.

Some things are universal, boot polish, hair oil and beer.
Camphor and Powder.
I wonder what was a distictively oz scent in the mix? Aerogard and Coppertone?
