clock back

Good to see the computer clock has adjusted now that the extra week of Daylight Saving is over and we've turned back clocks, (without a Patch or registry hack for the overlap)*

Elsewhere, The Guardian got it wrong:
It is to be hoped that no readers took the advice given in the Guide, page 57, March 25, and put their clocks back at the start of summertime.

Heh..The Hooting Yard is wonderful and appropriately named.
I've had to adjust my pc clock twice in the last few weeks. I believe it was the Queen's fault.

HY - yes indeed - and just discovered the Annexe

I've adjusted my clock twice too, but in that week Gmail never quite got it.
I'll miss sending emails an hour before I compose/d them.

The Annexe is a real metablog. The blog to comment on your blog. If the author wasn't obviously deranged (in the nicest possible way) I'd think it was a traffic generating thing. Gives me an idea - might start a cat picture and badmouthing bibliodd blog. Have a self blogwar.

Ooo! That reminds me to change my watch, it currently says 4:45. Which, I suppose, is rather disappointing - I'd be going home in 15 minutes if you hadn't reminded me.

That seems sound , although in a couple of trecenas it'll be the month of Mayan?

Boynton, that comment would have worked much better had it been written in authentic Quink Inca.

Anyway - forget calendars, the change of season is not heeded by the end of daylight saving as much as the first appearance of the bob cat on the oval, digging up the cricket pitch.
Unlike Cricket inc or AFL, the local clubs stick to the natural order of things and don't stray outside the boundaries of the season.
