green house

And speaking of hot weather and no air conditioners...

We did visit a green display house on one of those horrible, hot days in January.
It was lovely and cool inside. But it was done by air con, not by clever design, insulation and cross ventilation.

'I didn't want to wilt' said the green saleswoman.

Anyway, as we inspected the standard stone tops and counter basins and minimalist spaces for sim-citizens, it soon became apparent that we did not present as their sort of type anyway (peninsula) and she was glad to be unable to accommodate us.

It may have been my hat's fault.
My failure to remove it inside was not/is not done, I know.
But it does provide natural shading from the sun.

Congrats on 5 years, and on the latest posts, which I really enjoyed reading.

(I hope I am cool too, though I'm starting to doubt it ;)

Boynton is most cool.
And if time would allow, as it will not, now, a clear depiction, the words themselves taking much of the allotted, from that, the moments devoted hereward would emphasize, by their deduction, by their having been deducted, from such limited otherwise time as such is mine, now, that once a week at most I can, strategically, devote besides, to this, this, this business, as activity, as general pursuit, and yet here, specifically, I am, now, which testifies, affirms, confirms.
Because Boynton is most cool. Doubt not that.

I wouldn't be wanting to live on the Peninsula - I've read too many Gary Disher books

FX - Disher did a worse job on fish restaurants on the Great Ocean Road though ...
Boynton - if you follow the 'more photos' A6180 link you find 2 more totally mis-labelled.

I guess Crime Fiction is slowly colonising the coastal towns of Victoria?
I wouldn't mind living anywhere near a beach - though Port C along the GOR seemed a bit midsommery to me once in deep midwinter.

And BwcaB - I searched but couldn't find my way to "more" or mis-labelling? Sounds intriguing though.
