every so often boynton checks the www state of play with Schoolgirl's Fiction hoping (valiantly) for the digitised versions of School Friend or Girls' Crystal - secretly scheming to one day chance upon an on-line Dilly Dreem - a Heroine by Mistake, Secret Friends of the Speed Girl or even Cousin Percy's Surprise Pullover. While the beloved stories she pored over once upon a time ( now idly gathering dust on shelves elsewhere) are yet to apppear here, I noticed this site the other night that has indexed many papers in the exhaustive juvenile canon.
Following the links you get an idea of the beloved genre from the titles:
Miss Nameless of the Holiday Camp
Maureen and the Boy Who Didn’t Care
Her Bandit Friend of the Pampas
or here
Rivals of the Swimming Pool
Film-Struck Fay
The Tennis Girl with a Secret
boynton might just have to knuckle down and save some shillings for this CD .
Comments: juvenile titles
"Babs & Co at the Manor of Menace" - a 'must read' title if ever I saw one!

personally I find this title jolly intriguing:
"A Hero to All but Joyce"
Joyce may have issues methinks.

If we're quick maybe Sally could be an umbrella stand - beats elephants legs, anyway.
