More tender emotions are induced viewing this great site about the famous Luna Park Merry go Round - the only example of a Philadelphia Toboggan Company Carousel to have left the US.

I see they advise:
You need to be 100 cm tall to ride alone.
Guest under 100 cm must ride with a responsible adult.
I may be over 100 cm tall but I'm not responsible enough to be a guest on the ghost train, heritage or not.
